Blasting is the most cost effective means of removing rock.  It takes less time than mechanical methods which means less labor costs.  At J. Roy's, Inc. we are always conscious of our clients budget and are able to tailor our services to suit their specific needs.

Communication is key when it comes to blasting.  Our office staff, project managers, and on site supervisors work with our clients throughout the process, ensuring that the job runs smoothly and efficiently. 

Our staff of licensed blasters are highly trained in their field and good at what they do.  All risks are calculated and blasting is done with precision and accuracy.  We are certified to monitor blast vibrations and implement this in all our projects.

J.Roy's Inc. has been drilling and blasting since 1970.  Our years of experience have tought us the most effective methods of rock removal.  The knowlegde we have aquired over the years gets passed down from generation to generation.  Before any work begins we are able to look at a project, assess the situation, and apply the right procedure for the application.

Safety of the workers, the public, and property is the number one priority at J. Roy's.  Every project has different factors that need to be addressed.  How close is the blast to buildings?  Is there a road nearby?  Are there people in the vicinity?  These factors and many more are considered before we start any project.  It is our policy to complete a thorough jobsite inspection and safety checklist before any explosives are used on a project.  We work closely with our clients and local authorities to coordinate safety procedures for the blasting process.  No corners are cut when it comes to safety.

Federal, state, and local permits are a necessary component in the blasting process.  It is our practice to handle all permitting associated with blasting for a project.
